A display house is a term for a "display" version of manufactured homes, or houses in a suburb. They are used to show the living space and features of different models of homes available to the consumer.The builders assigned to each suburb build their best designed houses in a lane in the new suburb to be released to the public. These houses are then open to public, so they can choose their builder of choice based on the design of the homes, energy ratings, lanscape designing etc. Usually the land deveoping agency will also made a model of the site showing parks, schools, recreation facilities, houses and future sites to be released in the new suburb.
